Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-10-03
This policy covers consumer health data as defined by the Washington My Health My Data Act and similar state laws. It applies to the Calmcuff app, made by Pediaca, LLC.
What consumer health data the app handles
- Readings you enter or import (for example blood pressure and pulse), with date, time, arm and position.
- Medication names you choose to log and whether you marked them as taken. Never doses suggested by us.
- Notes you write, and data you allow the app to read from or write to Apple Health.
Where it is stored and who receives it
On your iPhone only. This data is not sent to Pediaca, LLC, to analytics (PostHog), to crash reporting (Sentry), to advertising platforms, or to iCloud. We have no servers that store it. You choose when to share a report (for example a PDF with your clinician) using your phone's share sheet.
Why we process it
Only to provide the features you use: storing your log, calculating averages, building the report you request, and reminders you set.
Sharing and selling
We do not share consumer health data with third parties and we do not sell it.
Consent
The app asks for your consent before collecting consumer health data and before connecting Apple Health. You can withdraw consent at any time by revoking Apple Health access in Settings or by deleting the app.
Your rights
You can access, export (CSV, free) and delete your data at any time from the app. Because the data never reaches us, we cannot see or recover it. For questions or to exercise your rights, write to hello@calmcuff.app. We answer within 45 days.
